Through the past 46
years we had lost contact with the family, it was a pleasure to be able to reconnect with them.

Dear LCDS,
I just wanted to say hello to you all! My dad (Mike) and I came across your website today and we were
very touched to see the information about my mum and the lovely picture. It is so wonderful to know
that the preschool and kindergarten program continues after all of these years.
I have been inspired by my mother to make a career in developmental psychology. I did a degree in
psychology, and subsequently PhDs in child memory development and clinical psychology. I now work as
an academic at City, University of London, and specialize in cognitive and memory development in
children with developmental disorders. I have had three children (who are now 23, 21, and 18) and I
have worked part time throughout their growing up as my mum did.
We are always saddened when we think about how we lost my mum at such a young age, but there is
no doubt that she has left a great legacy.
Anyway, I would love to keep in touch with you all from time to time. Please do remember our family to
anyone who may have known my mum, although I realize this might be a long shot after so many years
have passed.
