- Bachelor of Education Degree – preferably elementary
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a classroom setting. Previous experience with teaching Kindergarten would be an asset.
- Permanent Certificate not required – hours accrued in class will go towards qualifying for a permanent certificate
- Level 3 Child Care Certification
- First Aid and CPR for children
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

- Background in finance, accounting/bookkeeping, or business administration.
- Experience in, or knowledge of, non-profit organizations, Early Learning and Child Care or Alberta Education Finance is a benefit.
- At least 5 years experience working in accounting/bookkeeping.
- An understanding of generally accepted accounting practices.
- Proficiency in English, MS Office, and bookkeeping software (ex. Simply Accounting or Quickbooks).
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search in place prior to contract start date.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable and reasonable.
