Alberta Government Subsidy
The Government of Alberta has re-introduced subsidy to support parents enrolling their child for preschool as of August 16th, 2021.
To qualify, your total household income is under $90,000.00.
The subsidy amount you will receive is $125.00 per month.
Parents must submit their applications to the Government of Alberta. Once the documents have been approved, notice will be sent to LCDS. LCDS will receive and handle the reimbursements from the Alberta Government Subsidy Program.

You will need to complete the Canada Revenue Agency CRA Consent Applicant Declaration & Acknowledgement form.
You will also need a MyAlberta Digital ID (MADI) for interacting with the Government (new applicants allow 10 days for receiving your confirmation code).
Once you are approved, the subsidy will be dispersed directly to the school.
LCDS families still pay their monthly fee by the 1st of each month and then the school will reimburse at the end of each month.
